Jointly with the Erasmus+ project ASKFOOD, we will be hosting an online event on 20th of May from 2-4 pm CEST, where various experts from all over Europe we will be discussing “new training methodologies to match opportunities and challenges for sustainability in the agri-food sector”.

What can you expect? Inspiring and hands-on insights from both projects as well as an external input on the relevance of the SDGs from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

… our panel discussion “SDGs Labs – joint forces between business and academia”, taking place on November 24th, from 3- 4:30 pm CET. Our panel discussion is part of the European RCE Conference 2020 on “Climate Emergency: Joined-up action” organized by RCE East Midlands, UK.

In our session, we will not only share updates about our project progress, but you will also get a first glimpse on our “SDGs Academies” platform prototype, which will be one of the main outcomes of our SDGs Labs Knowledege Alliance.

Afterwards, we will open the discussion on how to bridge academic theory and daily business practice to push the SDGs forward.

Participating panel members are Prof. Dr. Marco Rieckmann, (professor of Higher Education Development at the University of Vechta, Germany), Mag. Johanna Bernhardt (Terra Institute, Italy and coordinator of the RCE Euregio Tyrol), Dr. Christian Rammel, (head of the RCE Vienna, professor at the WU Vienna and a sustainability-driven entrepreneur himself) and our guest speaker Mr. Dejene Tezera, (Director of the department of agri-business development at the UNIDO).

The session would be moderated by Danijela Grubnic, coordinator of the project SDGs Labs.

Half-time for SDGs Labs…

We submitted our Interim Report to the EC – isn’t it crazy that already half of our project time is over? Time really flies, but at the same time we can be really proud when looking back at all that we achieved in the past 18 months.

All our outcomes are available for you in our Harvest Section and if you have any questions you can always reach out to our regional experts. And the best news even is that there is so much more to come still in the second half of our project and tons of great input is awaiting you! And we are not only talking about the Labs …

Corona News…

Due to COVID-19 our regional partners are now all implementing various online settings to keep our work on SDGs Labs going. Luckily, we are already used to online meetings as we work from different countries. However, we still hope to be able to meet in person in Portugal in May. Let’s keep our fingers crossed!
